This Big Boy Navajo Indian Jewelry Turquoise Coral Silver Cuff Bracelet is an impressive piece of hand made Native American Jewelry. This Turquoise and Coral Big Boy bracelet is definitely not for the meek at heart. This fine piece of jewelry features a cuff that was hand made from a very heavy gauge of Sterling Silver. And, this Bracelet has a traditional Navajo Indian chip inlaid design made from genuine Turquoise and Coral. The Turquoise and Coral come together to make a Pueblo Indian runner design. This Sterling Silver cuff bracelet has been hand stamped with fine line designs. Made in our shop. This Turquoise and Coral bracelet is 1-1/2" wide. It'll fit a 7" to an 8" wrist. Stamped Sterling. Signed with our hallmark.

There are many legends about Turquoise; The Pima consider it to bring good fortune and strength and that it helped overcome illness. The Zuni believe that blue turquoise was male and of the sky and green turquoise was female and of the earth. Pueblo Indians thought that its color was stolen from the sky. In Hopi legend the lizard who travels between the above and the below, excretes turquoise and that the stone can hold back floods. The Apache felt that turquoise on a gun or bow made it shoot straight. The Navajo consider it as good fortune to wear and believe it could appease the Wind Spirit.

Mata Ortiz Hand Coiled Indian Pottery. From Casas Grandes Valley, this pot is excellent quality with walls that are hand, stone-polished to a fine finish. Hand coiled without the use of a potter's wheel, this piece of pottery is a true one of a kind. It has been masterfully hand painted with a staggering amount of fine line details. The intricacy of the hand painted designs makes this pot easy to admire. This is a beautiful piece of art meant to be treasured. This will be a welcome addition to your collection. Includes coordinating ring stand.

The inspiration for Casas Grandes pottery is taken from the Casas Grandes tradition. It began in the early 1960's, following the Amerind Foundation's excavation of the nearby Paquime ruins in 1958. There was little interest in the antiquities of the area until the excavation. A new awareness quickly developed.
