This Big Boy Navajo Indian Jewelry Turquoise Coral Silver Cuff Bracelet is an impressive piece of hand made Native American Jewelry. This Turquoise and Coral Big Boy bracelet is definitely not for the meek at heart. This fine piece of jewelry features a cuff that was hand made from a very heavy gauge of Sterling Silver. And, this Bracelet has a traditional Navajo Indian chip inlaid design made from genuine Turquoise and Coral. The Turquoise and Coral come together to make a Pueblo Indian runner design. This Sterling Silver cuff bracelet has been hand stamped with fine line designs. Made in our shop. This Turquoise and Coral bracelet is 1-1/2" wide. It'll fit a 7" to an 8" wrist. Stamped Sterling. Signed with our hallmark.

There are many legends about Turquoise; The Pima consider it to bring good fortune and strength and that it helped overcome illness. The Zuni believe that blue turquoise was male and of the sky and green turquoise was female and of the earth. Pueblo Indians thought that its color was stolen from the sky. In Hopi legend the lizard who travels between the above and the below, excretes turquoise and that the stone can hold back floods. The Apache felt that turquoise on a gun or bow made it shoot straight. The Navajo consider it as good fortune to wear and believe it could appease the Wind Spirit.

A time honored work of Navajo made art. This watch features Genuine Malachite cabochons artfully set on heavy gauge Sterling Silver. The Silver was hand cut and hand stamped with traditional southwestern designs. Hand made Sterling twist wire and drops surround the deep green Malachite with a brilliant white shine. This Malachite is high grade, top notch stone and is showcased perfectly in this impressive watch. A complimentary watch face is included for your convenience. The watch tips are 1-1/4" wide by 1-3/4" long and attached to a stainless steel stretch band that can be easily adjusted for size. Stamped Sterling.

Malachite comes from copper ore, thus exuding a green appearance. Its origin dates back to ancient Egypt and as with several other precious stones, was believed to possess magical powers. It has been found in Zaire, France, England, Rhodesia, New Mexico, and Arizona. It is rare and highly esteemed by mineral collectors for its deep rainforest green hues that often alternate with lighter green hues in a linear pattern. Malachite is used for making beads, carved figurines, and cabochons (cut stones). However, larger quantities have been used in certain palace walls and buildings in Russia.
