This Big Boy Navajo Indian Jewelry Turquoise Coral Silver Cuff Bracelet is an impressive piece of hand made Native American Jewelry. This Turquoise and Coral Big Boy bracelet is definitely not for the meek at heart. This fine piece of jewelry features a cuff that was hand made from a very heavy gauge of Sterling Silver. And, this Bracelet has a traditional Navajo Indian chip inlaid design made from genuine Turquoise and Coral. The Turquoise and Coral come together to make a Pueblo Indian runner design. This Sterling Silver cuff bracelet has been hand stamped with fine line designs. Made in our shop. This Turquoise and Coral bracelet is 1-1/2" wide. It'll fit a 7" to an 8" wrist. Stamped Sterling. Signed with our hallmark.

There are many legends about Turquoise; The Pima consider it to bring good fortune and strength and that it helped overcome illness. The Zuni believe that blue turquoise was male and of the sky and green turquoise was female and of the earth. Pueblo Indians thought that its color was stolen from the sky. In Hopi legend the lizard who travels between the above and the below, excretes turquoise and that the stone can hold back floods. The Apache felt that turquoise on a gun or bow made it shoot straight. The Navajo consider it as good fortune to wear and believe it could appease the Wind Spirit.

This bracelet is hand cut from heavy gauge Sterling Silver. Traditional feather and coil designs wrap the full length of the bracelet and shine with scintillating flare. Hand twisted Sterling Silver wire and individually hand made 'Navajo Tear Drops' add extra ornamentation to this brilliant Navajo design. This bracelet is 3/4" wide and will fit a 5-1/2" to a 6-1/2" wrist. For a custom-ordered larger size, the price may differ, so please call for pricing. Stamped Sterling and signed by the Navajo artist Verna Blackgoat.

The Navajo people have returned to the original name, the Dine' (pronounced di-nay'h), given to them by their holy people.
