This Big Boy Navajo Indian Jewelry Turquoise Coral Silver Cuff Bracelet is an impressive piece of hand made Native American Jewelry. This Turquoise and Coral Big Boy bracelet is definitely not for the meek at heart. This fine piece of jewelry features a cuff that was hand made from a very heavy gauge of Sterling Silver. And, this Bracelet has a traditional Navajo Indian chip inlaid design made from genuine Turquoise and Coral. The Turquoise and Coral come together to make a Pueblo Indian runner design. This Sterling Silver cuff bracelet has been hand stamped with fine line designs. Made in our shop. This Turquoise and Coral bracelet is 1-1/2" wide. It'll fit a 7" to an 8" wrist. Stamped Sterling. There are many legends about Turquoise; The Pima consider it to bring good fortune and strength and that it helped overcome illness. The Zuni believe that blue turquoise was male and of the sky and green turquoise was female and of the earth. Pueblo Indians thought that its color was stolen from the sky. In Hopi legend the lizard who travels between the above and the below, excretes turquoise and that the stone can hold back floods. The Apache felt that turquoise on a gun or bow made it shoot straight. The Navajo consider it as good fortune to wear and believe it could appease the Wind Spirit.

These bolos will make great gifts and the holiday season is coming fast. Each unique bolo tie features a traditional Navajo design with gorgeous genuine Turquoise stones. Many of the designs are no longer being produced and are one of a kind. The bolo with the large moss green Turquoise cab is made by master Navajo silversmith Jimmy Emerson. These sturdy Sterling Silver bolos have been artfully hand cut and hand stamped. Individual measurements vary but they average 2-1/4" long by 1-1/2" wide. Each bolo comes with a leather bolo cord with silver tips. Some are stamped Sterling and signed by the artist.

Turquoise is one of the most valuable, non-transparent minerals in the jewelry trade. It has been mined for eons since at least 6000 BC by early Egyptians. Today, it is more popular than ever and its use around the world is prolific. The most valuable Turquoise has special characteristics; it is naturally hard the way it was found and features bright blue or green hues.
