This Big Boy Navajo Indian Jewelry Turquoise Coral Silver Cuff Bracelet is an impressive piece of hand made Native American Jewelry. This Turquoise and Coral Big Boy bracelet is definitely not for the meek at heart. This fine piece of jewelry features a cuff that was hand made from a very heavy gauge of Sterling Silver. And, this Bracelet has a traditional Navajo Indian chip inlaid design made from genuine Turquoise and Coral. The Turquoise and Coral come together to make a Pueblo Indian runner design. This Sterling Silver cuff bracelet has been hand stamped with fine line designs. Made in our shop. This Turquoise and Coral bracelet is 1-1/2" wide. It'll fit a 7" to an 8" wrist. Stamped Sterling. Signed with our hallmark.

There are many legends about Turquoise; The Pima consider it to bring good fortune and strength and that it helped overcome illness. The Zuni believe that blue turquoise was male and of the sky and green turquoise was female and of the earth. Pueblo Indians thought that its color was stolen from the sky. In Hopi legend the lizard who travels between the above and the below, excretes turquoise and that the stone can hold back floods. The Apache felt that turquoise on a gun or bow made it shoot straight. The Navajo consider it as good fortune to wear and believe it could appease the Wind Spirit.

Genuine Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Nugget Silver French Hook Navajo Earrings by Veronica.

These Turquoise earrings are full of natural character. These sensational earrings have been hand strung with gorgeous nuggets of genuine Turquoise from the Sleeping Beauty mine near Globe, AZ. The natural sky blues are amazing! The Turquoise nuggets alternate with shining plated Silver seed beads and dangle from plated Silver French Hooks. Turquoise and Silver, you can't go wrong with that. These beautiful earrings are 1-1/8" long with 6mm (average) Turquoise nuggets.

These Native American Earrings were hand made by Navajo artist Veronica Begay. Veronica is the niece to famed Navajo Indian silversmith Victor Begay. Veronica, also known as Ronni, was born and raised on the reservation in a small town called Many Farms, AZ. Veronica has been making jewelry since she was 15 years old. Her parents, Wilson and Linda Begay, taught her and she comes from a family of silversmiths. Her parents are well known on the reservation and her uncle, Victor Begay, is a famous and well known silversmith.

The Sleeping Beauty mine is located near Globe, Arizona. Its turquoise is noted for its solid, light blue color with no matrix. Sleeping Beauty turquoise is the favorite of the Zuni Pueblo silversmiths for use in petite point, needlepoint, and inlay jewelry. This mine is one of the largest in North America and is still operating.
