This Big Boy Navajo Indian Jewelry Turquoise Coral Silver Cuff Bracelet is an impressive piece of hand made Native American Jewelry. This Turquoise and Coral Big Boy bracelet is definitely not for the meek at heart. This fine piece of jewelry features a cuff that was hand made from a very heavy gauge of Sterling Silver. And, this Bracelet has a traditional Navajo Indian chip inlaid design made from genuine Turquoise and Coral. The Turquoise and Coral come together to make a Pueblo Indian runner design. This Sterling Silver cuff bracelet has been hand stamped with fine line designs. Made in our shop. This Turquoise and Coral bracelet is 1-1/2" wide. It'll fit a 7" to an 8" wrist. Stamped Sterling. Signed with our hallmark.

There are many legends about Turquoise; The Pima consider it to bring good fortune and strength and that it helped overcome illness. The Zuni believe that blue turquoise was male and of the sky and green turquoise was female and of the earth. Pueblo Indians thought that its color was stolen from the sky. In Hopi legend the lizard who travels between the above and the below, excretes turquoise and that the stone can hold back floods. The Apache felt that turquoise on a gun or bow made it shoot straight. The Navajo consider it as good fortune to wear and believe it could appease the Wind Spirit.

Native American Smokey Mountain Tibet Turquoise Silver Belt Buckle is full of natural character. This belt buckle was hand made in our shop by master Navajo Indian silversmith Jimmy Emerson. The Navajo Indian jewelry artist used a large nugget of genuine Smokey Mountain Tibet Turquoise to create this one. This Turquoise nugget features incredible natural blue colors and natural matrix. This Turquoise appears on a hand made nickel Silver backed and Sterling Silver front belt buckle. This belt buckle has been hand cut with scalloped edges and hand stamped with traditional southwestern designs. This buckle is approximately 3 3/8" by 3" with a 1-1/2" wide keeper on the back.

In Indian folklore it is said that there was once a chief with turquoise colored skin. One day he was running from his enemies in the hot desert. Whenever he stopped to rest, his perspiration ran onto the ground, collected in rocks and became turquoise.
